PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple axis drive unit provided with an auto-tensioner for restricting vibration (chord vibration) or slip due to resonance of a transmission belt caused by torque fluctuation generated based on rotation fluctuation of an engine or the like, and generation of noise caused by these. SOLUTION: The transmission belt 1 as a V-ribbed belt is installed on a drive shaft 11 as a crankshaft of the engine, and pulleys 18, 19, 20, and 21 installed on driven shafts 12, 14, and 16 at least, and the auto-tensioner 23 is engaged with the transmission belt 1 in this multiple axis drive unit 10 for a transmission belt. A movable member 30 of the auto-tensioner 23 is composed not to be movable in a loosening direction of the transmission belt 1, but to be movable only in a tension adding direction to the transmission belt 1.
