<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket sales management device that can distribute tickets via the Internet and can prevent unauthorised use by forgery. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means to present ticket list of the events registered in a first database to a user terminal; a means to generate a ticket identification number for the ticket purchased by the user terminal, to register the identification number of a banknote used for the inspection of the ticket input associated with the ticket purchasing procedure and the generated ticket identification number to a second database, and to transmit the ticket information including the ticket identification number and the information that indicates the content of the event to the user terminal; and a means to collate the ticket identification number of the presented paper ticket in which the ticket information is printed with the ticket identification number registered in the second database, and to collate the identification number of the banknote presented with the identification number of the banknote registered in the second database at the entrance of the event. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
