CODE INFORMATION READ-OUT DEVICE, PROGRAM THEREFOR, AND PEN TYPE DATA INPUT UNIT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code read-out device which can accurately read-out the codes when codes formed on a paper are photographed obliquely to the surface using a camera, and can read-out at a high speed.

SOLUTION: Two-dimensional codes are read-out by a two-dimensional image sensor from a plane on which two-dimensional codes including synchronous marks and code marks are recorded. The synchronous marks and code marks are separated from the read-out image. The center of gravity of the synchronous marks and the code marks are calculated. The lattice parameters of the marks including compensation of the projection effect are also calculated from the center of gravity of the classified synchronous marks. A code dot position is calculated from the classified code marks using this lattice parameter. The solution of the problem is realized by detecting the block number of two-dimensional code from the calculated code position.
