<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit for reducing the increase of power consumption due to through-currents and electronic equipment equipped with the interface circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This interface circuit is configured to input/output a signal through a signal transmission line 30 between itself and the other electronic equipment 2, and provided with a switch 1161 which pulls up a signal transmission line 30 and a switch 1164 which pulls down it for detecting the potential of the signal transmission line 30 in a state that the signal transmission line 30 is pull-up and pull-down to decide that the signal transmission line 30 is not pulled down or pulled up by the other electronic equipment 2. When it is decided that the signal transmission line 30 is not pulled down or pulled up by the other electronic equipment 2, the signal transmission line 30 is controlled to be pulled down or pulled up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
