PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which prevents an object to be packaged from largely shifting fore-and-aft when a rear folding plate folds a film below the object and prevents the film in contact with mount members from being constrained by the members. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus for pushing up the object to be packaged from downward against the film kept stretched to fold the peripheries of the film below the object includes the mount members 311 or the like, right and left folding plates and a rear folding plate. The right, left and rear folding plates fold the peripheries of the film below the object along the right-and-left and fore-and-aft directions. The members 311 or the like tilt against a fore-and-aft spring and include mount members 341-345 in the center row which continue to support the object even when the right and left folding plates enter.
