摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shifting mechanism of a manual transmission enabling a reduction in space and the number of parts. SOLUTION: This gear shifting mechanism of the manual transmission comprises a shift select shaft formed to be rotated by the select operation of a gear shifting member and to be axially moved by the shift operation of the gear shifting member and a plurality of shift forks for forward speed gear stage installed on the shift select shaft rotatably relative to each other and movably in the axial direction. Also, a shift piece for establishing the forward speed gear stage selected by operating in conjunction with the shift operation of the gear shifting member is fixed to the shift select shaft, and an interlock member for establishing a select position selected by operating in conjunction with the select operation of the gear shifting member is non-rotatably and axially movably installed on the shift select shaft.
