PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of directly inputting raw garbage into a small polyethylene bag sanitarily and efficiently. SOLUTION: The garbage receiving vessel comprises two long-sized locking members disposed substantially horizontally facedly to the substantially horizontal direction so as to form a space larger than the opening dimension of a bag, and a supporting body that is extended from the two long-sized locking members in the substantially vertical direction, supports the two long-sized locking members, and is elastically deformed to apply relative displacement in the narrowing direction of the interval between the two long-sized locking members with respect to the two long-sized locking members and an elastic reaction force against the displacement. In this vessel, the opening of the bag is folded back to the outside, and the two long-sized locking members are gripped by the folded back part. Thus, circumferential tension is generated in the folded back part, a frictional force between the bag and the two long-sized locking members caused by the tension keeps the bag to be opened.
