PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone capable of designating a user whom a caller side want to call while recognizing to whom the call is addressed on a callee side, eliminating the need for transfer after incoming once, in the case where a plurality of users are present for a master unit or a slave unit. SOLUTION: A master unit 10 and slave units 20 and 20a register the information about users of own unit and other unit in memories 101, 201, and 201a. When a user of the other unit side is designated by operation control parts 106 and 205 at calling, the designated user is reported to other units by wireless control parts 103 and 203. At calling from other unit, the reported user is discriminated by CPUs 100 and 200, and call tone control parts 107 and 206 ring in the call tone corresponding to the user.
