摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of compatibly securing display performance and manufacturing possibility. SOLUTION: The thicknesses DR, DG, DB of barrier layers 163R, 163G, 163B out of lower electrode layers 16R, 16G, 16B are made different mutually in the three organic light emitting elements 30R, 30G, 30B (DR > DG > DB). By utilizing the interference phenomenon of light caused by the difference of resonance length among the organic light emitting elements 30R, 30G, 30B based on the difference in these thickness DR, DG, DB, the white light generated in a layer containing the luminous layer 18 is converted into three color light, that is, red color right ER, green color light EG, and blue color light EB. Since it is not necessary to coat selectively the layer containing the luminous layer 18 using a metal mask, the display size can be made large, and since it is not necessary to convert the white light in three color lights ER, EG, EB by using a color filter for color conversion of high concentration and thickness, the utilization efficiency of light is secured.
