An oil supply device for a continuously variable valve timing apparatus is provided to improve reliability of the continuously variable valve timing apparatus by storing oil purified from an oil filter at normal pressure and feeding purified oil to an OCV filter in momentarily increasing oil pressure with an oil reservoir tank. An oil supply device comprises an oil reservoir tank(4) storing purified oil from an oil filter(1) and moving up and down a piston(6) elastically supported by a spring(5) to divide internal space into upper and lower parts, a first inlet pipe(7) connecting an inlet of an OCV filter(3) to the upper part of the oil reservoir tank, a supply pipe(8) connecting the upper part of the oil reservoir tank to the inlet of the OCV filter, a second inlet pipe(9) connecting an outlet of the oil filter to the lower part of the oil reservoir tank, a discharge pipe(10) connecting the lower part of the oil reservoir tank to an oil pan, a first one-way valve(11) installed in the first inlet pipe and opened according to normal oil pressure to store oil in the oil reservoir tank by pushing the piston downward, a second one-way valve(12) mounted in the middle of the supply pipe and opened in moving up the piston to supply purified oil from the oil reservoir tank to the OCV filter, a third one-way valve(13) mounted in the second inlet pipe and opened in discharging unrefined oil momentarily while opening a relief valve in suddenly accelerating an engine or cold starting to move the piston up by high pressure oil through the second inlet pipe, and a fourth one-way valve(14) mounted in the discharge pipe and opened in moving down the piston to return unrefined oil from the lower part of the oil reservoir tank to the oil pan.
