<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost equalize the levels of blurring in directions corresponding to the conveying directions of image data obtained by image pickup regardless of the conveying speeds. <P>SOLUTION: A scanning start pulse S to be outputted from a driving circuit 12 of an image pickup device 1 between continuous encoder pulses to be outputted from a rotary encoder 6 is counted by a counter 13. A filter coefficient corresponding to the count value(conveying speed) is selected by a filter selection setting circuit 16, and set by a filter circuit 15. The coefficient value of the filter coefficient when the conveying speed is slow is decided so that the level of blurring can be made large. The filter coefficient corresponding to the conveying speed of the printed matter is used, and image data to be outputted by a line sensor 11 are filtered with image data lined in a direction corresponding to the conveying direction as a target. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
