POLYFUNCTIONAL MULTILAYER STRUCTURE TYPE SEPARATION MEMBRANE FOR MANUFACTURING HIGHLY CONCENTRATED ALCOHOL FROM FERMENTED ALCOHOL-CONTAINING AQUEOUS SOLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyfunctional multilayer structure type separation membrane for stably producing a concentrated alcohol liquid from a dilute alcohol fermented liquid at the normal temperature using an alcohol selective separation membrane, and an alcohol manufacturing method using the separation membrane.

SOLUTION: The polyfunctional multilayer structure type separation membrane is constituted so that a porous membrane having a precise filtration function is arranged outside the alcohol permselective gas separation membrane coming into direct contact with a fermented liquid and a membrane for preventing that an organic acid is brought into contact with the alcohol permselective gas separation membrane (or adsorbed by the alcohol permselective gas separation membrane) is arranged between the precise filter membrane and the alcohol permselective gas separation membrane. The concentrated alcohol liquid is stably produced by this separation membrane.
