PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve for fixing a joint member to a pipe suitable for a pipe joint for connecting a refrigerant pipe forming a cooling system used where a space-saving is requested such as a place where a water-cooled personal computer is installed. SOLUTION: This tubular sleeve 10 for fixing the joint member to the pipe is press-fitted into an annular space S formed between the inner peripheral surface of the male or female tubular joint member C forming the pipe joint and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe P inserted into the joint member and fixing the joint member to the pipe. The sleeve comprises a press-fitting portion 16 having an outer peripheral surface 12 and an inner peripheral surface 14 formed concentrically to the pipe and press-fitted into the annular space and a large diameter annular engagement part 18 positioned on the rear end side of the sleeve for fixing the joint member to the pipe, positioned on the outside of the annular space when the press-fitting portion is press-fitted into the annular space, and engages a tool for press-fitting thereto.
