PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage of a crawler type embodied in a lightweight, compact, and simple constitution capable of changing over between grounding with the wheels and grounding with crawlers and performing the changeover of grounding at a desired running position. SOLUTION: The carriage is structured so that each crawler part frame 20 is coupled movably with a wheel part frame 10 through four arms 37-40, a front support member 34, a rear support member 35, and a guide 31. The front support member and the rear support member are screwed on a screw shaft 32 and moved in the opposite directions along the guide with rotation of the screw shaft, and the arms are rotated so that the crawler part frame 20 is separated and approached from/to the wheel part frame 10.
