PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compress an empty can by small force without fail. SOLUTION: The device can reduce a volume of empty can Wa by compressing the empty can Wa in one direction. The device is structured so as to have a split opening means 7 for making a hole Wa3 which extends at least to the compressing direction on one or more of outside faces to be compressed ( end faces) Wa2 parallel to the compressing direction among the outside faces of the empty can Wa.
