<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a game device and a program which never diminish the attractiveness of games by limiting the number of game items to an appropriate number if the game items externally appear on the game. <P>SOLUTION: The game device includes a former game item appearing part 52 for introducing a former game item in the game according to the development of the game, a hint ID input part 56 for externally inputting data (a hint ID) corresponding to a new game item, and a new game item appearing part 54 for introducing the new game item for the former game in the game if the former item has appeared in the game in a prescribed state (a state in which the former game item is in the possession of a player game character) and the data has been input.
