PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing driver causing no problem such as damaging a gripping surface, even if a projecting connecting part of a casing is gripped directly or via a spacer by a casing gripping device, when performing building-up or extracting work of the casing. SOLUTION: This casing driver has the casing gripping device 8 for gripping the casing 20 in its work, by performing press-in work or extracting work of the casing 20.
