PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detecting sensor in which a terminal of the detecting sensor disposed in front of a casing does not corrode even when humidity generated upon washing a private part with warm water injected through a flushing nozzle of a sanitary flushing device enters the sanitary flushing device through a cutout for a flushing nozzle formed under the casing. SOLUTION: The object detecting sensor 9 mounted to the casing 8 having a window hole comprises a sensor body 9a having a light emitting element and a light receiving element, a filter 9c disposed at a predetermined interval from the sensor body 9a, and a sensor case 9b covering the sensor body 9a.
