PANORAMA IMAGE CREATION DEVICE AND PANORAMA IMAGE IMAGING DEVICE

It is possible to easily acquire an image for creating a panorama image and select an arbitrary image. Each of the still images corresponding to each frame of a moving picture imaged by a camera (1) is created by a moving picture processing unit (3) and temporarily stored as a sequence of still images arranged in the time series, in a work memory (4). Arbitrary two of still images are successively selected from the still image sequence by a button operation of a key input unit (6). A two-screen image processing unit (5a) performs two-screen-display of the two still images in a partially overlapped state on an image display unit (7). A desired combination of still images is selected and the selected still images are moved/rotated for position matching so as to be combined into a panorama image by a panorama image processing unit (5b). The panorama image is displayed on the image display unit (7) and accumulated in a recording medium (8). One of the images which are two-screen-displayed selects the first image in the still image sequence or the panorama image in the recording medium (8) while the other image on the opposite side selects an arbitrary still image from the still image sequence.
