<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protecting guide device having excellent durability and reliability by preventing breakage of flexible chords. <P>SOLUTION: This cable protecting guide device is provided with link frames 10 each having a rectangular cross section, and a pair of the flexible chords 20 inserted through guide holes 15 formed in both side walls of the link frames. A number of the link frames are connected to each other by the flexible chords to be bendable to each other as a cable is inserted in a connection direction to be protected and guided.
