<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulated switchgear friendly to an environment without using global warming gas, small in size, and light in weight. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum breaker 1 is used for the gas insulated switchgear, a mixed gas mainly composed of N<SB>2</SB>and O<SB>2</SB>or dry air is used for insulating gas, and minimum-guaranteed gas pressure of rated gas pressure is set to 0.2 to 0.8 MPa abs. The gas insulated switchgear is reduced in size such that the longitudinal direction of the vacuum breaker 1 and the longitudinal direction of the insulated switchgear except for an operation machine 3 or the like are arranged so as to be almost parallel to each other. A cylindrical pressure vessel 2 that functions as a gas zone of the vacuum breaker 1 and cylindrical pressure vessels 7a, 7b that function as gas zones of disconnectors 5a, 5b are gas-divided by spacers 6, and the gas pressure of the cylindrical pressure vessel 2 is set lower than the gas pressure of the disconnector 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
