PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tie-up generation restricting effect in clutch-to-clutch speed change control. SOLUTION: Error (ΔdTb/ΔdTo) between time change ratio dTo0 of output shaft torque in a torque phase and reference time change ratio dTo of output shaft torque in a physical model of an automatic transmission is operated (step 4). The reference time change ratio dTo of the output shaft torque in the initial stage of an inertia phase is corrected for the error (ΔdTb/ΔdTo) (step 7). DifferenceΔK between the time change ratio dTo0 of the output torque in the initial stage of inertia phase and the reference time change ratio dTo of the output shaft torque after correction is operated (step 8).
