<p>The device has a hollow cylinder (110) to accommodate a set amount of wood chips (200). The cylinder has two open end faces, the first one (111) of which is closed by a panel (120). A compression device (130) is moved through the second open end face (112) towards the first one, to compress the wood chips contained in the cylinder. Cylinder and panel are moved in both directions along the vertical central cylinder axis (113). The compression device is a piston moving in the cylinder, or a roller device (131) with at two or more conical rotating rollers (132,133). The cylinder is turnable, and the panel is pivoted. The wood chips have a length of 0,5cm to 5cm, and may also contain sawdust with a length of 0,05cm to 0,5cm. The compressed wood chip bulk is wrapped in a water-proof material.</p> |
