<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which decomposes nonbiodegradable and water-dispersible polymers-containing waste water to reduce an environmental load, and can reduce the environmental load to a level satisfying waste water standards. <P>SOLUTION: In a waste water treatment method, an electrolyte is added to the water-dispersible polymers-containing waste water, and electrolysis is carried out using an electrically conductive diamond electrode as an anode.
