PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure of an automobile capable of stably giving a turning force to the outside of the vehicle to the lower side of an obstacle that collided with the automobile with a compact structure in comparison with conventional invention, and capable of reliably preventing dragging into the lower part of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A first impact absorbing member 5a is arranged between a bumper armature 4 and a bumper fascia 6, and a second impact absorbing member 5b having rigidity in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle set higher than that of the first impact absorbing member 5a is arranged along the lower face of the first impact absorbing member 5a and the bumper armature 4. A plate-like member 3 is provided along the lower face and the rear face of the second impact absorbing member 5b, and the plate-like member 3 is fixed to the bumper armature 4.
