PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack detecting tape bonded easily to a detection object in a short time and capable of detecting accurately the occurrence of a crack, and a crack detecting system. SOLUTION: A separation material layer 2e is peeled out of the crack detecting tape 2 shown in (A), and an adhesive material layer 2d is bonded on a surface of a lining part T<SB>1</SB>in a portion where the occurrence of the crack C is predicted as shown in (B). Electrode parts are connected to longitudinal-directional both end parts of the crack detecting tape 2, and a current flows between the paired electrode parts. When the crack C is caused to make tension force act on the crack detecting tape 2 along a longitudinal direction thereof, as shown in (C), the the crack detecting tape 2 is broken to be brought from an electrified condition to a nonelectrified condition. A resistance value the crack detecting tape 2 gets into infinity as a result therein, and it is determined based thereon that the crack C is caused in the lining part T<SB>1</SB>and that a tunnel T is under a dangerous condition.
