PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program suitable for a music game to be played by using an operation part provided with a plurality of operation areas, an information storage medium and a game system.

SOLUTION: This game system comprises an instruction mark storage part 172 for storing the image data of an instruction mark for instructing the operation of a player, a display control part 110 for controlling the display of a plurality of display objects including the instruction mark, a timing acquisition part 112 for acquiring an operation timing, and an evaluation part 114 for comparing and judging the acquired operation timing and a reference timing and evaluating the operation of the player. The display control part 110 executes control for displaying the instruction mark capable of instructing the operation of the plurality of operation areas by one mark, and the evaluation part 114 compares and judges the timing of the operation to the plurality of operation areas and the reference timing and evaluates the operation of the player in the case that the player operates the plurality of operation areas of the operation part.
