<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle measuring instrument capable of easily checking information on the charge when a driver wishes to check it. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle measuring instrument 1 has an IC card reader-writer 4 to read/write information on the charge from/in an IC card 3 while the IC card 3 for the charging system of a toll road utilizing the radio communication, and is capable of displaying information on the charge on an odd-trip display unit 11to display meter information.
