<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double valve with a reset mechanism for operating the double valve while avoiding the use of a resetting function and constraining a pilot switch, and resetting method. <P>SOLUTION: First and second reset pistons are operated in response to pressure fluid to reset first and second movable valve units of the double valve, respectively. When the two reset pistons are operated, first and second pilot chambers are ventilated. The two pilot chambers make the first and second movable valve units operated corresponding to the first and second pilot valves, respectively. After the first reset piston is retracted by the ventilation, the second reset piston is retracted a preset delay time later.
