PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte sealing material having excellent electrolyte shielding property and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The electrolyte sealing material comprises the laminate of a rubber or a resin film having electrolyte shielding property used as an inner layer in contact with an electrolyte and of a rubber having heat resistance used as an outer layer. The electrolyte sealing material has the excellent electrolyte shielding property and the heat resistance, by laminating a material excellent in the electrolyte shielding property on an innermost side in direct contact with the electrolyte, and a material excellent in the heat resistance on an outermost side.
