PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control information readout device of a shutter opening and closing device and a method of reading out the control information in the shutter opening and closing device capable of reading out the control information of a shutter by connecting a personal computer to the existing HA terminal in the shutter opening and closing device. SOLUTION: A controlling means of the opening and closing device 2 stores the control information in a memory means, a motor 3 is controlled to open and close the shutter 1, and the HA terminal 17 connectable to an outside HA system 18 is included. A request signal having a different specification from an HA control signal is inputted in the controlling means from the HA terminal by the personal computer 40, and when the controlling means discriminates the request signal by separating from an HA signal, the controlling means is switched to a monitor mode to repeatedly input the control information to the personal computer from the HA terminal in a signal form capable of being sent out by the specification of the HA control signal and a circuit constitution. The personal computer acquires the control information twice, and when these twice control information coincides with each other, the request signal is stopped, and the output of the control information is thereby also stopped.
