The pump (4) has a piston in a housing. It is located below a suspended container (1), e.g. soap dispenser, partially projects into it, and sucks the content in an upward direction via a short tube (5). The suction aperture is covered by a cap (7) forming a connection between the opening of the suction tube and the lowest point of the dispenser, and which also covers the suction tube. The channel extends from the gap (10) between cap and pump collar, to the tube intake. The cap has an outer stiffening.
