摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion nozzle which suppresses the crack and breakage of a flange part and a nozzle body and the erosion near the molten metal inflow port (molten metal hitting part) by forming the molten metal inflow port of a ring member composed of a high erosion-resistant material. <P>SOLUTION: An immersion nozzle 1 is provided with: a nozzle body 2 consisting of a refractory; a molten metal flow path 5 having a molten metal inflow port 3 and an outflow port 4 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle body; a ring member 7 forming the molten metal inflow port; a recessed part 2a formed at the upper end part of the nozzle body engaged with the above ring member 7; and a flange part 6 arranged on the outer circumferential end part at the inflow port side of the nozzle body. The ring member 7 is formed of the erosion resistant and high strength material. Further, the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion (coefficient of volume expansion) of the material constituting the nozzle body 2 and that of the material constituting the ring member 7 is made to be equal to or less than 0.1 to 0.3/K, and the ratio A/B of the size A of the ring member 7 in the longitudinal direction and the size B of the flange part in the longitudinal direction is formed to be 0.6 to 0.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
