<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process control system for enabling changes and expansion of the system at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A means of transmission and reception 136, of the process side in a terminal device 130 for the process, transmits first information to a management device 150. A means of transmitting/receiving 158 of the management side in the management device 150 receives the first information, and a means of specifying 150a1 specifies a support program, corresponding to the first information from a program storing means 150d. A control means 150a2 of the management side makes the means of transmission and reception 158 of the management side transmit the support information for displaying on the display means 135 of the terminal device 130 for the process according, to the support program. A means of transmission and reception 136 of the process side, in the terminal device 130 for the process, receives the support information, and the display means 135 of the process side displays the support information.
