PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote oxidation reaction by generating a high oxygen atmosphere in an oxygen pump having an oxidation catalytic function. SOLUTION: The oxygen pump comprises a solid electrolyte 6 having oxygen ionic conductivity, a positive electrode film 7, a negative electrode film 8, a porous material 11 carrying an oxidation catalyst, and a gas supply means 23.
