PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial leaf for decorating a food from a multiple-layered material constituted by a woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, knitted fabric, etc., of a natural fiber and synthetic fiber. SOLUTION: This artificial leaf for decorating the food is obtained by melt-cutting a multiple-layered material constituted by overlapping 3-4 layers of core materials between a surface material and rear surface material, wherein, the surface material and rear surface material are made from the natural fiber or synthetic fiber and the core material is made from a sheath core type fiber made of a polyester fiber, and a thermoplastic synthetic fiber, with a heated blade formed as a natural leaf to produce the desired artificial leaf.
