PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the dose of ultraviolet irradiation in the width direction of a thermal recording paper uniform. SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp has such a characteristic that the luminescence intensity by the side of one end is strong and gets weaker toward the other end. The end part where the luminescence intensity gets stronger is determined according to the kinds of the ultraviolet lamp. For the ultraviolet lamps 20a, 20b for yellow, the one of same kinds with same mark is used and arranged by turns so that marks 30, 31 may become alternate. By this arrangement, the two ultraviolet lamps of 20a and 20b make up for the luminescence intensity each other and make the dose of ultraviolet irradiation in the width direction of the thermal recording paper uniform.
