PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment method constituted so as to facilitate the movement of the roofs of a plurality of waste treatment scheduled areas formed on a slope to reduce the cost accompanied by the movement of the roof, and to form a plurality of the waste treatment scheduled areas, each of which has a size corresponding to that of the roof, in the up and down direction of the slope to effectively utilize the slope. SOLUTION: A plurality of the waste treatment scheduled areas (landfilling pits 6a-6c) are formed on a slope site 10 and the roof 1 constituted by putting up a sheet between a plurality of skeletal members is provided to one waste treatment scheduled area. After the landfilling work, charging work or feed-in work of the waste to this roofed waste treatment scheduled area, the roof is raised to be moved to the other waste treatment scheduled area to be provided to the other waste treatment scheduled area before performing the landfilling work, charging work or feed-in work of the waste to the other waste treatment scheduled area.
