A method and system for registering E-mail is provided to prevent a forgery of E-mail contents, register a time delivering and opening the E-mail in a database of an E-mail registering server, and to use the registered contents as an evidence when troubles connected with the forgery of the E-mail contents are generated. A user joins as a member in order to use a registered E-mail through a predetermined proceed provided from a registration server. The user installs a plug-in program for transmitting/receiving the registered E-mail using an individual authentication number. The member accesses the registration server and transmits an original registration E-mail and an attachment file to the registration server. The registration server encodes the received E-mail and the attachment file using an embedded program, and stores the encoded E-mail and the attachment file into a database. The registration server checks the E-mail delivered and opened time, issues a delivery confirmation certificate, encodes the delivery confirmation certificate, and stores the encoded certificate into the database. |
