An on line system and method for a pawn business is provided to develop a way of appraising goods on the Internet, and supply a pledge checking and delivering procedure by on line. A business man(102) opens a site for a pawn business by connecting a server(302) to the Internet network(301). A client(101) accesses the site and receives a desired service according to indications and menus. The business man and the client send or receive goods or money. The goods are able to be sold to customer(603) by an auction site(601). The server(302) stores member identity information, appraise information, and loan related information.
