A multi-access cable modem using a synchronization circuit is provided to accurately restore a signal by synchronizing a PN code with received data through a synchronization signal detector. An input unit receives a signal through a cable. A modulating unit(520) modulates the inputted signal. An initialization unit(530) generates an initial value by extracting an initial value of a PN generator from the demodulated signal. A PN code generating unit(510) generates a PN code based on the generated initial value. A synchronization signal detecting unit(710) detects a synchronization signal. An operation unit(720) operates the PN code generating unit(510) when the synchronization is detected.
