METHOD OF MANAGING FILE STRUCTURE IN MEMORY CARD AND ITS RELATED TECHNOLOGY

A method for managing a file structure is provided to integrally manage the validity at a general area and an authentication area in an SD(Secure Digital) memory card. A mobile phone(102) performs the multimedia data communication, displays, regenerates, and stores communicated image information. A RAM(108) temporally stores the multimedia data. The multimedia data are stored in a memory through an interface(103). A memory card(101) includes a general area(106) and an authentication area(107) as a high capacity memory. A controller(105) controls to write and store the multimedia data in the general area(106) or the authentication area(107).
