A versatile exercise device for a lower body is provided to give various exercise effects to a user, to allow a user to exercise at any time, and to effectively maintain health condition of a user. The versatile exercise device for a lower body includes support plates(1) provided at both sides of the exercise device, an outer tube body(2) and an inner tube body(3) having different diameters, which are fixed to the support plates, and a spring(4) which is wound around the outer tube body and the inner tube body. The inner tube body is fitted into the outer tube body in a sliding manner. A support string(5) is engaged with an outer periphery of the support plates in upper and lower directions. When the exercise device is used for a man, the spring is compressed by both legs of the man. When the exercise device is used for a woman, the spring is extended by both legs of the woman.
