Mobile communications apparatus comprising an image recording device, i.e. a camera, and a means for receiving a position signal wherein position-related data derived from the position signal is recorded together with a captured image. The apparatus may be able to detect its position by using a global positioning system (GPS) receiver or data derived from multiple base stations, or the mobile network may communicate the location to the apparatus. There may also be a location database that may be accessed with the position-related data to provide output related to the location, such as languages used in a region, local area telephone dialling codes, street addresses, post codes or zip codes. |
