摘要 Provided is a method of making a herbal health food by mixing red ginseng extract, herbal extract, sugar and the like, extracting in a vacuum concentrator and then aging. The food is effective in recovery of fatigue, recovery of strength, improving vigor, inhibiting aging and alleviating climacteric symptoms. The herbal health food comprises 15 to 20 parts by weight of red ginseng extract, 30 to 35 parts by weight of herbal extract, 15 to 20 parts by weight of oligosaccharide, 15 to 20 parts by weight of sucrose, 10 to 12 parts by weight of high fructose corn syrup, 0.02 to 0.1 parts by weight of herb flavor, 0.02 to 0.1 parts by weight of caramel and 0.01 to 0.05 parts by weight of grapefruit extract. The herbal extract contains 10 to 15% by weight of Rehmanniae Radix, 8 to 12% by weight of Polygoni multiflori Radix, 6 to 10% by weight of Rhizoma Dioscoreae, 8 to 12% by weight of Rubi Fructus, 8 to 12% by weight of Lycii Radicis Cortex, 8 to 12% by weight of Torilidis Fructus, 8 to 12% by weight of Semen Cuscutae, 8 to 12% by weight of Hoelen, 8 to 12% by weight of Cnidii Rhizoma, 2 to 3% by weight of Zizyphi Fructus, 2 to 3% by weight of Angelicae Gigantis Radix, 2 to 3 parts by weight of Glycyrrhizae Radix and 2 to 3% by weight of Paeoniae Radix.
