PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher wherein a heating means and a water level detecting means are prevented from being contaminated by residue and trouble owing to the contamination does not occur. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a dish basket 20 for housing dishes 19 to be housed in a washing tub 2; a spray nozzle 18 for spraying washing water or rinsing water in the washing tub 2 toward the dishes 19; a spraying and draining pump 15 for supplying washing water and rinsing water to the spraying nozzle 18 and also draining the washing water and rinsing water in the washing tub 2 to the outer part of a dish washer body 1; a warm water storing tank 3 arranged at the outer part of the washing tub 2 so as to store water which is supplied from the outer part of the body 1 through a water supply pipe 4; the warm water supply pump 6 for supplying warm water from the warm water storing tank 3 to the washing tub 2; and the heating means 7 and the water level detecting means arranged inside the warm water storing tank 3.
