PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly form additive information based on backup object data so that it can be stored in a data storage means. SOLUTION: This system comprises a backup destination storage device 7A that is a backup destination of the backup object data that are an object of backup; a backup source device 1 having a backup execution means 11 for transferring the backup object data to the backup destination storage device 7A to perform the backup of the backup object data; an additive information storage means 7P capable of storing the additive information formed based on backup object data; and an additive information forming means 21 for forming the additive information based on the backup object data after completing the backup of the backup object data and storing it in the additive information storage means 7P.
