PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment preservation block which contributes to rejuvenation of the flora and fauna extinguished in channels, and helps aquatic animals to move between paddy fields, the channels, rivers, etc., to thereby bring symbiosis with the nature in the rivers and ambient environment surrounding the same, and enjoy the benefits of the nature for a long time to come; and to provide a block structure using the blocks. SOLUTION: The block formed of concrete, has a bottom plate, and right and left side walls, and functions as the channel. An inner corner portion of the channel extending from at least one of the right and left side walls to a bottom plate surface has a protruding wall protruded therefrom toward the lateral center but not reach the other side wall. The protruding wall includes a surface formed of a curved surface, an inclined surface, a vertical surface, or a combination of the two or three surfaces facing an upstream side or a downstream side of the channel. Further a surface of the protruding wall, facing the lateral center of the channel is formed of a curved surface, an inclined surface, a vertical surface, or a combination of the two or three surfaces.
