The swimming pool cover lamella (1) comprises an elongated hollow profile (2) with at least one open outer end, couplings (3,4) for connection to another lamella. The lamella elongated hollow profile limits an undivided compartment. The profile is closed, with the exception of two open outer ends. Along two diametrically opposed long sides of the hollow profile extend coupling devices, respectively a female coupling rail (3) and a male coupling rail (4). The male coupling rail can engage in the female coupling rail of an adjacent swimming pool covering lamella.
