PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the detection accuracy of tire air pressure reduction using effective determination values as many as possible as the result of rejecting data when the steering of a vehicle is in operation and employing data when the steering of a vehicle is not in operation. SOLUTION: This tire air pressure alarm device determines whether or not the steering of the vehicle is in operation in a step 108. When it is determined that the vehicle is in operation in the step 108, each wheel speed detected by a wheel speed sensor is rejected. When it is determined that the steering is not in operation, each wheel speed detected by the wheel speed sensor is employed.
